Alex was a guest I wanted to have on, Being in the service industry, Alex has many stories to talk about when it comes to dating, He's also an Author having written a book called "A shot of Oakies" which we'll talk about on the show.
About Alex :
I have been working in restaurants for over 35 years, mostly as a bartender, and I have had thousands of conversations with a diverse group of people from all walks of life.
Alex The Author
During that time, I’ve learned a lot about dating and the characteristics of successful relationships. While my experience has given me many stories to tell, I have also recently written a book, A Shot of Oakies, and I am looking to promote it.
It’s based in 1743 and I describe it as bourbon and pirates with a little Shakespearean flair. To be clear, I am not looking for a book review. Instead I’m looking to talk about the journey I took to write it, as well as my experiences working in restaurants and how they helped me grow as a person.
