About Kate :
My passion is consciousness and exploring the nature of thoughts. A.I. has been a challenging and rewarding avenue for me to explore these themes in meaningful and applied ways. I love working with all things thought related (including expertise and mental health), solution-driven and design related, including agent-based models, cognitive models, and systems analysis. This experience has enabled me to specialize in the areas of AI, Expertise, Cognitive Science and Neuroscience. This is supplemented by research work, actively pursuing knowledge of human behaviour, predicting emotions, and relating these areas to a variety of business applications.
Artificial Intelligence: (8 years of Experience)
Agent development: Neuro-biologically based and cognitively inspired artificial intelligence design, development and testing for multiple research projects and disciplines.
Machine Learning: working with and designing supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement ML programs for multiple research projects
Neural Networks: design and testing, both personally developed and applying software to projects
R&D: (8 Years of Experience)
Multiple international peer-reviewed publications in the areas of Computer Science, Cognitive Ergonomics, Cognitive Science, Digital Humanities. Research areas and applied projects: artificial intelligence, agent development, research methodologies in AI, cognitive modeling, cognitive architectures, expertise, game theory, emergency management, game play and interaction.
Leadership & Teaching: (8 Years of Experience)
Multiple platforms of creating stages and goals for teams, mentoring colleagues and university students. Writing and presenting multiple University Lectures, conference materials and workshops.
