This was a interesting topic, that I read, full article is below. Some women have rules for first dates, some are logical, but others seem to be out of left field.

I understand having standards, it's important, you can weed out the "not datable" But for most men it's a nervous time for them, some might have not been out on a date in months, maybe years so being apprehensive of screwing it up can make a man have a drink or maybe dress a certain way, etc, before meeting his date, so women, please understand our dilemma on trying impress you.
